I’m an Irish immigrant in the U.S trying to carve out a new life for myself. I’m a wife, mama and designer. We have a wonderful mixed culture household. I love hydrangeas, Irish tea, yoga, morning stooping with coffee, Linstant de Guerlain, bold graphic patterns, corten, old black and white photographs, worn jeans, playing piano and Yann Tiersan’s Amelie music.
I’m a strong advocate for immigrants, non-immigrants, illegal immigrants rights and I believe that there should be a contestation of space for “the others” on the periphery of society.
My blog name came from a song my talented cousin wrote. “Mother Russia” by Fe Knights.
